Presentation of Annual Drug Review for 2018

On 19 March 2019 within the framework of the 62nd session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs the Delegation of Tajikistan headed by Mr. Sherkhon Salimzoda, Director of the Drug control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (DCA), has organized the Side Event entitled "Presentation of Annual Drug Review for 2018".

The presentation has summarized analytical and statistical materials about the main aspects of the fight against drug trafficking and drug abuse prevention, as well as anti-drug cooperation, reflecting the contribution of the Republic of Tajikistan in combating this global threat.

Meeting between Mr. Sherkhon Salimzoda, Director of the Drug control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mr. Yuri Fedotov, Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime

On 19 March 2019, within the framework of the 62nd session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs Mr. Sherkhon Salimzoda, Director of the Drug control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan has met with Mr. Yuri Fedotov, Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

During the meeting, the parties have discussed the key issues of relations of the Republic of Tajikistan with the UNODC in combating drug trafficking, as well as prevention of transnational and national crime groups in the region.
