Meeting of Mr. Ismatullo Nasredin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with Mr. Alessandro Azzoni, Chairman of the OSCE Permanent Council

On 18 July 2018 Mr. Ismatullo Nasredin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan within the framework of his working visit to Vienna has a meeting with Mr. Alessandro Azzoni, the Chairman of the OSCE Permanent Council.

During the meeting the two sides have discussed the course of implementation of the priorities the OSCE Italian Chairmanship-in-Office in all three dimensions of the OSCE activity - political and military, economic and environmental and humanitarian, as well as the prospects of Tajikistan's cooperation with the OSCE, strengthening the cooperation between the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe and the relevant ministries and agencies in Tajikistan, particularly development and implementation of various projects related with against modern threats and challenges.

Furthermore, the parties have agreed on taking concrete measures on implementation of the outcomes and recommendations of the International High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028 (Dushanbe, 20-22 June 2018) and the High Level International Conference entitled “Countering terrorism and preventing violent extremism” (Dushanbe, 3-4 May, 2018).
