Today, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia Andrus Ansip.
The issues of political, economic, trade, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation have been reviewed at the meeting.
Both sides paid particular attention to the enhancement of economic, trade and investment cooperation, including with consideration of new opportunities for entering into the market of South Asia countries. The transit role of Estonia with its seaports has also been considered important.
The development of interaction in the areas of hydropower, mining, light and food industries, as well as agriculture and tourism was defined as promising.
